The always vibrant and energetic Brazilian city of Sao Paulo is celebrating its Contemporary Art Fair in May
Sao Paulo Arte Feira (SP-ARTE) will be released next May in the city of Sao Paulo (Brazil). From 10 to 13 May this Contemporary Art Fair will be opened to the public, who will have the opportunity to know some of the very last and newest artworks from artists coming from all over the world.
Artworks from renowned and well known artists such as Richard Serra, Damien Hirst, Rachel Whiteread, Anish Kapoor, Cristina Iglesias, Henrique Oliveira, among many others, will be featured at the Art Fair alongside the works and projects of emerging and talented young artist and curators.
For its first time SP-ARTE has set the Laboratório Curatiorial (Curatorial Lab) inviting young curators from Brazil to present their ideas for exhibition projects. Four of these projects, showcasing artworks by artists represented by already participating galleries, will be released at a SP-ARTE’s special section.
There is no doubt about South America region currently growing as one of the emerging and booming places within the field of arts, with Brazil aiming to become a leading country in the contemporary art sector.
