DEAF 2012 is one of the most important art and technology event taking place in Europe
The Dutch Electronic Art Festival, DEAF 2012, is one of the main festivals located in Europe and focused on art and design. From 16 May until 20 May Rotterdam and Amsterdam (Holland) will host this international multidisciplinary festival released under the motto “The Power of Things”.
The DEAF 2012 exhibition features the artwork of artists and designers from around the world such as Olafur Eliasson, Jessica de Boer, Mark Shepard, Jae Rhim Lee, Philip Beesly and Kianoosh Motallebi among many others. Biology, technology and art blend with cultural and social concerns and relations in the work of these selected artists.
Alongside the art exhibition, the DEAF 2012 program includes different sections. Guest curators, artists, researchers and theorists are invited to participate in ‘The Evening of…’. ‘The Power of…’ will allow the attendees to participate in workshops, networking and get a first hand insight on the newest fashion, textiles, printing, art and crafts technologies.
The Dutch Electronic Art Festival is organized every two years aiming to showcase the latest and newest of new media art. Performances, installations, talks, films and theatre activities and events have been planning to engage all those interested in arts, science and technology.

Wonderful blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News.
Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News?
I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Appreciate it
Thank you!
I guess that Yahoo News, as well as other quite similar news aggregators, lists blogs, articles and news according to its criteria and priorities
