The Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza features one of the largest European exhibitions of the American painter
The work of Edward Hopper (Nyack, 1882-NewYork, 1967), one of the most relevant painters from the last century, is on view at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza (Madrid, Spain) until next 16 September.
The exhibition, Hopper, showcases 73 paintings of this realist American artist. His watercolors, drwaings and oils portrait the America of the Great Depression, landscapes and outdoors scenes of trees, ships, houses, streets…
