LAST DAYS: BRITISH ART EXHIBITION AT FUNDACIÓN JUAN MARCH

Last few days to visit the exhibition entitled Treasure Island: British Art from Holbein to Hockney at Fundación Juan March (Madrid, Spain).

The exhibition, running from last 5 October until next Sunday 20 January, features some of the most important British artworks from the 16th to the 20th century.

Treasure Island: British Art from Holbein to Hockney is organized in seven sections which display works from renowned artists such as Hans Holbein, Anthony Van Dyck, Joshua Reynolds, Thomas Gainsborough, Antonio Canaletto, George Stubbs, John Constable, W. Turner, J. A. M. Whistler, Dante Gabriel Rosetti, John Singer Sargent, Lucian Freud, R. B. Kitaj, Francis Bacon, David Hockney and Anthony Caro, among many others.

The exhibition takes its name from the Robert Louis Stevenson’s (Edimburgh, Scotland, 1850) famous novel The Treasure Island.
