WILLIAM SCOTT EXHIBITION: LAST DAYS AT TATE ST YVES!

Tate St Yves (St Yves, Cornwall, UK) is still featuring William Scott artworks. The exhibition, launched last 26 January, will be running until next 6 May.

The British artist (Greenock, Scotland 1913- Coleford, England 1989) is widely known for his production of domestic scenes, nudes, landscapes, abstract paintings and still lifes. The retrospective displayed at Tate St Yves shows an overview of the artist’s career from his earlier stage to his latest works.

William Scott is regarded as one of the most important British painters and leader of his generation. His oeuvre, an exploration of the boundaries between Figuration and Abstraction, has been often described as powerful, sensual, fresh and vital.
