The photographer Nan Goldin is currently exhibiting at the Matthew Marks Gallery in Los Angeles (California, USA).
Nan Goldin (1953, Washington, USA) is an American artist focused on documentary photography from the beginning of her career.
Her artworks have always been very well received not only by the general public but also by the critics although at the same time have received some criticism from those who consider that her photography is far too explicit.
Nan Goldin has been awarded with several prizes and honors such as the Hasselblad Award (2007) and the French Legion of Honor (2006).
The exhibition ‘Nan Goldin: Scopophilia 2013’ will be running until next 29 June.
