FACING THE MODERN AT THE NATIONAL GALLERY IN LONDON

 

 

The National Gallery (London, UK) is currently showcasing the major exhibition “Facing the Modern. The Portrait in Vienna 1900”.

The exhibition features paintings and drawings of Oskar Kokoschka, Richard Gerstl, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele, among other artists such as Arnold Schönberg, Broncia Koller and Isidor Kaufmann and more.

A wide range of related events such as workshops, performances, courses, talks and private lectures are also running alongside the main exhibition.

The exhibition “Facing the Modern. The Portrait in Vienna 1900” will be on display until next 12 January 2014.
