Markus Schinwald artwork is on display in San Francisco

The Austrian visual artist Markus Schinwald is currently exhibiting at the galleries of the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts until next December 13th. The exhibition has been organized in collaboration with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, SFMOMA.

The show, which is the first major museum commission of Markus Schinwald in the United States, consists in an installation displaying his paintings and sculptures. The artist is well known for the use of prosthesis in his works which, besides sculptures and paintings, also include another media such as films, performances and site-specific installations, among others.
