The Guggenheim Bilbao Museum is still currently exhibiting the artwork of Jean-Michel Basquiat, one of the more controversial, independent minded and innovative artists of the 80’s.

The exhibition, “Jean-Michel Basquiat: Now’s The Time”, is a major retrospective which showcases many of the most famous artworks made by this artist who became an icon of contemporary art. Basquiat cultivated different artistic disciplines, movements and techniques, from painting to music, pop art, graffiti and neo-expressionism, who lead him to collaborate with other well-known artists such as Andy Warhol, Madonna or David Bowie.

Jean-Michel Basquiat’s artwork can be seen at the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum until next 1st November.
