The Tate Modern (London, UK) is showcasing more than 100 paintings by the American painter Georgia O’Keeffe (1887 Wisconsin, US – 1986 Santa Fe, US), considered today as an icon of the 20th century’s painting and a major figure in the field of arts worldwide.
Georgia O’Keeffe is well regarded for her exceptional capacity of observation reflected in her series of landscapes, bones and flowers. Throughout her career she used different mediums from oil to watercolour and charcoal to capture and materialise in her works the essence of nature.
Georgia O’Keeffe exhibition will remain open until next 30th October.
